    Mahesh Foundation does not get any government funds or Grants. It is totally dependent on local donors and well-wishers who donate continuously which help to maintain and provide proper shelter and healthy food to all the children.
  • Mahesh Foundation has around 200 volunteers.

    Mahesh Foundation has around 200 volunteers most of them being from the student community of various colleges and universities who help in collecting the funds in various ways. There are donation boxes setup in various commercial establishments like hotels, cloth Shops, grocery and general stores and various other public places which help in funding.
  • There are people who are themselves struggling for their life but are still supporting Mahesh Foundation.

    Apart from this there are unique types of donors, there are people who are themselves struggling for their life but are still supporting Mahesh Foundation ,like a person working in barber shop, a Petrol pump and a tea store ,a lady selling vegetables in market who motivate and provide the much needed emotional support. These are the real donors of Mahesh Foundation.

    The money received is accounted and audited. There is a proper channel established to ensure that every money donated goes for its cause.
  • The money collected is primarily spent on food.

    The money collected is primarily spent on food, education, clothes and day to day needs of the children. Various philanthropists make it a point to visit the orphanage on various occasions and share their joys in form of a birthday party etc.
  • Funds through adopted NGO’s

    Most of the funds come through adopted NGO’s, local donors, various institution’s, industrialist’s and corporate firms.
  • Mahesh Foundation has restricted fund

    Mahesh Foundation has restricted funds which can only be used for specific purposes that have been agreed with the donor, which is rather not used in general activities.
