Since its establishment, has been externally supporting thousands of children to get an education through the community program. Hence, Mahesh Foundation is providing skills-based education to the children. Computer education, art, drama, sports among others are the skills that are being taught. According to their interest in various fields, they are acquiring skills.

School in the Cloud

The School in the cloud is an initiative inspired by Mr. Sugata Mitra, a professor of Educational Technology. This helps them in self-organized learning with digital technology. These First-generation learners require lots more visual stimuli hence, the school in the cloud will ease their learning. So, Mahesh Foundation planned to set up a lab of schools in the cloud that impacts the learning of children who lack such privileges at home.
A Self-Organized Learning Environment, or SOLE, can exist anywhere there are computers, Internet connections, and students who are ready to learn. Within a SOLE, students are given the freedom to learn collaboratively using the internet.

The people of these communities earn their livelihood by selling scrap, manual labor or street hawking. Over the years, Mahesh Foundation has provided infrastructure facilities to more than 1500 families dwelling in slums
